I WAS ABDUCTED BY ALIENS!
It was late at night and I was out stargazing with my beloved Farstar e3 telescope. I was completely absorbed looking for planets and watching for shooting stars—though of course the whole time I was keeping an eye out for UFOs...
Suddenly there was this bright light and a disc-shaped objected zoomed into view and hovered overhead. I couldn’t believe my eyes! It was as if a hatch opened underneath it and a bright light shined down. The next thing I knew I was being sucked up inside the spacecraft!
I can’t really remember exactly what happened while I was on board the aliens’ ship. It’s all kind of hazy. But I do remember feeling really out of it, as if all of my senses were going haywire.
The next thing I knew, the spacecraft door opened again and I was spit out into my backyard. It was definitely the experience of a lifetime—or so I thought until nine months later when I had an even bigger surprise!

Ruth Pilmker, a budding astronomer from Desiderata Valley, has always loved science. “My bedroom is decked out with all kinds of sciency things. I have all the posters in the U-R-Here ‘n’ We-R-Here series and I’ve got a Hydrogens and Oxygens by Modulin model hanging over my bed.”
Yet after years of watching the night skies, it was just two weeks ago that the young girl spotted something different.
“I was searching for constellations when I saw something that didn’t look quite right. My instincts were correct—I had found a new star. It was so cool! I even earned some Simoleons for it. I’m definitely going to keep looking every night… at least until my bedtime.”
