The SimsTM, is the best-selling PC game of all-time, and the second more successful video game franchise in history. First launched in February 2000, the wildly-popular game allows players to create a neighborhood of Sims and control their lives and environments. At its inception, it skyrocketed to the top of the charts and quickly became a universal cultural phenomenon.
The Sims 2 launched in the Fall of 2004 as the 3D next evolution of The Sims. The Sims 2 released on consol, handheld game systems in the Fall of 2005. On March 19, 2008, The Sims first announced its next-generation, flagship product The Sims™ 3.
Now, The Sims is a brand celebrating 100 million sold worldwide.
